A Reincarnation (of sorts)

Sunday, November 16, 2008 – 5:12 pm

My custom built Pentium4 system from 2003 has finally pushed me over the edge. The MSI mainboard has always been finicky at best, however it’s killed 3 hard drives now (of which I can remember specifically, could be more) and so the time for an overhall has come.

My Quest for a Wii

Sunday, February 17, 2008 – 3:15 pm

After ignoring the hype for well over a year, I have finally tasted enough of the Wii to finally be on my own personal quest to possess one. The journey began just before Christmas. At the time, I wasn’t convinced I could find one, let alone afford to purchase one at Holiday prices. I decided to wait it out, making the assumption that come January 1st, Wii’s would be overflowing the shelves! I have never been more wrong. Read the rest of this entry »

Seagate Class-Action Suit Settled

Tuesday, November 13, 2007 – 6:40 pm

If you purchased a Seagate brand hard disc drive between March 22, 2001 and September 26, 2007, a proposed class action settlement may affect you. A hearing has been scheduled in San Francisco Superior Court to approve the settlement. Under the settlement, you may have the right to make a claim for cash or software. You also may choose to exclude yourself from the settlement. Alternatively, you may file written objections to the settlement and appear (or have your own attorney appear) at the court hearing. Migration at 90% Completion!

Sunday, November 11, 2007 – 2:37 pm

We’re on a new server!

Foster’s Blog required some major overhauling and unfortunately, the friend who was kind enough to host this site was unable to provide the needed software versions without inconveniencing others who were also being hosted on the same sever. I have now moved the majority of the site over to my new host, HostGator! There were some snags along the way (geez, go figure) but all-in-all I’m impressed at the level of service HostGator provides, and the ease of transition. Over the next few days I hope to get the remainder of the Gallery albums moved over. Other than that, the rest of the site should be fully-functional and ready.

In the meantime, I expect to be uploading a bunch of photos from our wedding. If anyone would like an account so they can upload pictures as well, please shoot me an email so I can set that up.  Tricia and I will be meeting with the photographer this coming week, so hopefully we’ll start to see some amazing stuff! :)
